With refurbishment work taking place in Elizabeth House, the Gallery will be closed for most of October, following our Wednesday Group show which closes on 6th October. We open again on 30th October with a return visit for the combined talents of the Windsor & Maidenhead Embroiderers’ Guild and watercolourist Martin Dutton, fresh from his success in scooping top prize in the recent Maidenhead and Me competition.
The Guild members have used the seashore as inspiration for their work which covers a range of techniques from the modern to the traditional.
Martin’s beautifully detailed landscapes bear witness to his memories and to the changing countryside, derived from photographs, sketchbook work and accidents that occur when in the act of producing a painting.
The exhibitions will be open from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm to 3pm Monday to Friday and look out for details of weekend openings.
